When the garden is your playground

Despite the cold, damp wintry weather I’ve had a fab weekend and today (Sunday) I invited my mate, Dec round to play in the garden.

We checked out the tree house in the muddy top garden; played catapult in the fallen down tree and had a mess about with old pipes and wood.

Here’s me and Dec; we built a prototype of a waterslide and sent a Lego man down to test it ! A few more adjustments and it will be perfect !

I was really lucky to receive a roe deer skull and antlers for Christmas. Thanks to Andy for the skull (Sarah, my gardening teacher’s husband)

My Dad made a shield today and it’s now in my bedroom – I love it.

Yesterday I went to the Dee Estuary with my Dad and we had 2 fantastic bird spottings. We saw a long eared owl in a tree and a marsh harrier flying over the water – how amazing – I couldn’t believe my eyes!

I’ll be taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch at the end of the month you can send off for a free pack here.

Hope you had a good weekend too !
