Got some new apple trees

I recently went to RV Rogers in Pickering, to buy some apple trees for our garden at home. We got 2 varieties – Katy and Sunset – the trees are called Cordons. Cordons allow you to grow a useful amount of fruit in even a small garden. We chose cordons, because if they grew too tall they would create a lot of shade.

Thanks for the information George, that’s really useful to know. I’m going to buy an apple tree of my very own too, sounds like the Cordons is the right one! 😀🍏

That’s really good to know George, thank you. We are in the process of designing our garden and want to include as much fruit and veg as possible. Looking forward to reading more from you 😁

    • Thanks Jaime and good luck with your fruit and veg growing. I absolutely love picking things like peas and eating them straight away. When I start planting the seeds in the spring I’ll be writing some updates and posting photos
